REFLECTION: EDUC 6715

As this course draws to a close, I come realize that my journey to receive my master looked impossible because of all my adversaries near the end. I must say that faith has a way of creating patience, endurance, and the fruit of the spirit. I now know that good thing come to those who wait. Pursuing my Master's at Walden, it was worth every investment.

Over the past months, I saw a muscle developing in the my attitude toward my students. It was sharing my insight of my new found knowledge. This knowledge was "Emerging Technology." It has transformed my lesson plan for school year 2010-2011, and placed me in the 21st century with a new weapon which I believe is armed and dangerous. It is for dangerous minds.

My students are in danger in being dropouts. South Carolina is 15 percent behind the national graduation average (Voice,2008). I believe strongly that MOODLE is the answer to my school drop out rate. Now that I have the resources that I need to make my point to the director of our alternative school.

Without this information from my complete assignment, I would not be able to understand the need for my students. They need to be motivated to learn, encourage to stay in school, and to be able to collaborate among their community with dignity and pride to offer the world a new product which comes from being a life long learner.

It was exciting exploring Moodle. This is a great collaborate tool that will help the students.
